Recreational Program Questions
The Twisters Gymnastic Club Recreational Program currently offers 8 different programs with varying levels and all age categories. Here are some of our most frequently asked questions about our programs. Athletes should wear something that is comfortable for exercising, i.e. a tee shirt, leggings or shorts.
Athletes should NOT wear anything too loose or baggy, as they will be doing skills that require them to go upside down.
DO NOT WEAR jeans, or anything that could get caught or scratch our equipment, especially no jewelry (small earring are an exception)
Bare feet is required to avoid slipping on the equipment.
Long hair must be tied back and out of their face.
Leotards are available for purchase through the office, but are not required.
Please send your athlete with a refillable water bottle. If they forget, we do have water fountains.
Please don’t send your athlete with any food, as they do not have a snack break during class, and we do not allow any food on the floor. Should you choose to bring food into the facility for any reason, please note that we are a PEANUT FREE facility
Yes, we have a parent viewing area upstairs that overlooks our entire facility. There are bleachers for your convenience.
When registering for the session you are committing to the full session, but if for some unforeseeable reason you need to withdraw the following withdrawal policy is in place:
Classes can be dropped at any time with 1 full calendar month notice (just like rent). Notice MUST be in writing (email or handed into office).

If you choose to change the day or class your child attends for any reason, you can call the office or request a transfer through the Parent Portal, and a staff member will assist you. This requires no notice.
Gymnaestrada & Interclub Questions
Gymnaestrada & Interclub are two programs that are offered through the Recreational programs at Twisters Gymnastics.
Gymnaestrada is a co-ed group that combines dance, gymnastics, and acrobatics all in one. Athletes in this program learn a large group routine and perform this routine at sanctioned events. *Gymnaestrada is not a part of the Competitive programs*
Registration for Gymnaestrada is by tryout, invitation, or assessment only. For information on how you can tryout please email gymnaestrada@twistersgymbc.com
Anyone who is over the age of six and interested. Come try out, both boys and girls! We are looking for athletes with a strong work ethic, eagerness to learn and a positive attitude. Dance or acrobatic experience is a bonus but not required.
Interclub is a program that offers the chance to increase their skill level and learn routines on all events. Routines are performed at sanctioned events to allow athletes to showcase their personal development. *Interclub is not a part of the Competitive programs*

Yes, everyone is required to be reassessed and tryout every year.
Interclub and Gymnaestrada run from September – June.
Competitive Program Questions
Twisters gymnastics has two competitive teams: Womens Artistic and Mens Artistic.
Competitive Artistic gymnastics is a discipline of gymnastics in which athletes perform routines on different apparatuses. Women compete on: Vault, Bars, Beam, and Floor. Men compete on :Vault, Floor, Pommels Horse, Still Rings, Parallel Bars and Horizontal Bar.

General Questions
Funding is a great resource for all! It allows you to get financial aid from the available supporters to assist with the high cost of gymnastics, and for homeschool Physical education. For more info click on our Funding drop down tab.
There are a couple of reasons that your payments are not going through.
- Credit card expired or ISF.
- When you sign up for gymnastics classes and put your credit card on your customer portal it will not let us take payment through our manager portal. In order for us to take payment you need to give us a call so we can update your card into our system.
