Mits Ikeda Selected as 2009 CABC Regional/Provincial Coach of the Year
Congratulations to long-time Twisters' coach Mits Ikeda on being selected as the 2009 CABC Regional/Provincial Coach of the Year!. The Coach of the Year Awards are presented by the Coaches Association of BC in conjunction with the Bob Bearpark Coaching Bursary Fund. The recipients of these awards have demonstrated a dedication to developing and advancing great athletes and great people. As Coach of the Year, Mits will receive a commemorative plaque as well as a bursary of for $250 to be used towards coach education.
Rey Keshmiri Recipient of the Spirit and Determintation Award
Congratulations to Rey, Rey has coached at Twisters since 2008. Her dedication to the sport of gymnastics and to her athletes has made her an asset to the gym. Rey is moving on to University and will be greatly missed.
